If you would like to know what the route and access speed to your server or other computer connected to the internet is, measured from a number of hosts all around the world, the Reverse Traceroute option is your tool. Select a TraceRoute host from the Host list; there are many international hosts to choose from. Then enter an IP address or qualified domain name of the computer you want to trace to and press the Trace button. Please wait while the host connects to the computer you have entered and assembles the routing list. This can take up to 30 seconds and sometimes even longer. After this delay, the route a network packet has to travel from the selected host to the entered computer is displayed step by step. All machines and their access times along the route are displayed. |
